Leading Data Science and Bioinformatics at Viome, Lan Hu utilizes meta transcriptome technology to advance health outcomes and combat chronic diseases. With a decade-long tenure in precision medicine across health tech, biotech firms, and a top cancer institute, Lan began her career at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute during the nascent days of NGS in cancer research. She subsequently delved into NGS in liquid biopsy, focusing on exosome RNA and cell-free DNA.

Before joining Viome, Lan spearheaded cloud-based precision medicine solutions in patient care at Philips Healthcare. Her expertise significantly contributes to Viome's mission of enhancing human health.
